Submediterranes Klima sorgt für heiße, trockene Sommer und milde, regenreiche Winter. Im Sommer erreichen die Temperaturen durchschnittlich 25 °C und im Winter 8 °C. Ganz typisch sind die drei Winde Mistral, Bora und Scirocco.

Hafen mit Humor: Auch wenn die nördlichste Hafenstadt Kroatiens in den vergangenen tausend Jahren mehrfach hart umkämpft war – ihren Humor haben sich die Bewohner erhalten. Vielleicht ist das ja der Grund, warum sich Rijeka zu einem beliebten Karnevalsort entwickelt hat. Über 120.000 Besucher feiern jährlich das spaßige Spektakel. Auf jeden Fall führte das Wechselspiel zwischen der Herrschaft von Kelten, Römern, Franken, Habsburgern, Franzosen, Ungarn, Italienern, Jugoslawen und Kroaten zu einer Vielzahl interessanter Bauten, die über die ganze Stadt verteilt sind.
Die Durchschnittstemperatur in Rijeka beträgt im Januar 5,9 °C und im Juli 23,5 °C, das Jahresmittel liegt bei 14,3 °C.
Korkula
Ihre Kreuzfahrt bringt Sie nach Korčula, eine der schönsten Inseln in Kroatien, wenn nicht sogar die schönste des Mittelmeeres. Die Insel Korčula liegt im Süden Dalmatiens in der Adria und wird von der Sonne regelrecht verwöhnt. Mildes Klima, ausgedehnte Pinienwälder und Olivenhaine auf der einen Seite und altehrwürdige Ortschaften auf der anderen Seite machen den unwiderstehlichen Reiz dieser Insel aus. Allen voran die gleichnamige Kleinstadt Korčula, die im Nordosten der Insel liegt und eine herrliche Altstadt bietet.
Die Insel liegt in der mediterranen Klimazone. Die Sommer sind meist sonnig, die Winter mild und regenreich.
Kotor
Eine mittelalterliche Perle
Kotor liegt in einer natürlich geschützten Bucht auf dem Territorium von Montenegro. Sie ist eine Stadt, die aufgrund ihres historischen und architektonischen Reichtums unter dem offiziellen Schutz der UNESCO steht. Das historische Stadtzentrum von Kotor ist bis zum heutigen Tage einer der außergewöhnlichsten Orte Europas und zeugt von der langen, viele Jahrtausende alten Handelstätigkeit der Stadt.
Die Temperaturen steigen im Sommer auf ca. 25 °C, im Winter fallen sie auf etwa 8 °C. Angenehmerweise fällt wenig Niederschlag.

Babys, die zu Reisebeginn jünger als 6 Monate sind, können aus Sicherheitsgründen nicht mit an Bord genommen werden. Auf Routen mit 3 oder mehr aufeinanderfolgenden Seetagen muss das Baby mindestens 12 Monate alt sein. In seltenen Fällen kann es zu Erkrankungen kommen, die nicht an Bord behandelt werden können.

Kotor liegt in einer natürlich geschützten Bucht auf dem Territorium von Montenegro. Sie ist eine Stadt, die aufgrund ihres historischen und architektonischen Reichtums unter dem offiziellen Schutz der UNESCO steht. Das historische Stadtzentrum von Kotor ist bis zum heutigen Tage einer der außergewöhnlichsten Orte Europas und zeugt von der langen, viele Jahrtausende alten Handelstätigkeit der Stadt.
